| Lightning is an atmospheric discharge of electricity resulting from an accumulation of static charges. Lightning is one of the most common causes of transients in electric systems. While a direct lightning strike is dramatic, it is important to note that the indirect effects are no less severe as lightning produces intense electric and magnetic fields that can couple into nearby power or communication lines. A commercial aircraft is struck on average once a year. Needless to say, all aircrafts must be lightning tested. There are two lightning simulations: the simulation of the direct strike and the simulation of the induced voltage and current. There are two types of simulators ray:
* Simulation of direct impact * Simulation of induced voltages and currents
We offer lightning test solutions for the following industries:
* Aerospace * Telecom * Military
